Higher Patchole Holiday Cottages are located near to Combe Martin in a secluded hamlet within easy reach of the North Devon coast and bordering Exmoor National Park. The self catering holiday cottages offer an escape from the stresses and strains of modern day living yet are still close to all the diverse activities and attractions that can be found in the beautiful countryside of North Devon.
Our 17th century, Grade II listed, luxury holiday cottages have been sympathetically renovated to a high standard, featuring original beams and stonework set in contrast with contemporary fixtures and fittings. The cottages have been modernised but still maintain the charm and character of the original barn. Our first cottage "The Shippen" was originally used to house the farm animals. Our second holiday cottage, "The Threshing Barn" was used to store feed and bedding, and will be available this year from July. *
